LVD SCSI interface for up to 80MB/sec data transfer rate; Supports ATAPI Devices, CD-ROM/CDRW/DVD/DVDRW, Zip Drives or Tape Drives (not for hard drives).
ACARD's LVD SCSI-IDE bridge is a dedicated general-purpose bridge of SCSI (Small Computer System Interface) to IDE (Integrated Device Electronics) interface. ACARD's LVD SCSI-IDE bridge supports most platforms and Operating Systems including PC Windows 98/ME/NT2000/XP and Linux platforms.
With an IDE device installed into LVD SCSI-IDE bridge, it can be connected to SCSI host adapter and work as a standard SCSI peripheral. User can get the maximum benefits and high performance from SCSI Bus and IDE for devices.
