The eSATA-EC controller has two external, 3Gb/s, SATA II ports, and plugs directly into a MacBook Pro (15" or 17") or Windows notebooks with an Express card/54 or Express card/34 slot.

The eSATA-EC PC Express Card supports both MAC and/or PC notebook, the eSATA-EC allows users to add the most modern SATAI/SATAII technology the notebook computers. With eSATA-EC PC Express Card installed, you can connect your notebook to SATA peripherals such as SATA HUB, External RAID equipment, eSATA storage Devices (CDROM, CD/RW, MO, HDD, ZIP etc.)
