Based on the proven architecture of the Silicon Image chipset, DATOptic mSATA-PCI is a single-chip PCI to 4-port Serial ATA (SATA) host controller. DATOptic mSATA-PCI is an ideal storage host controller for servers, workstations, A/V editing station or low cost storage systems featuring RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 1+0 or RAID 5 in a single Multilane / Infiniband connection.
Based on a 32-bit/66 MHz PCI interface, DATOptic mSATA-PCI provides support for four independent Serial ATA devices with transfer rate up to 1.5GB per channel with total bandwidth of 266MB/sec.
