SATA RAID Backplane Cages
A RAID cage is an internal multi-bay backplane module designed to hold hard drives in a removable configuration. Hot-swap RAID operation requires a RAID controller card. Advantages include easy swapping of hard drives upon failure, easy data transfer and backup using multiple hard drives, ability to mount more hard drives in fewer bays and good cooling.
SATA removable hard drive racks facilitate hot-swap operation for RAID setups, or mobility for transferring data or backups. The racks include the frame as well as the drive tray. Spare trays are available on each product page.
