SAS Host Bus Adapters (non-RAID)
Don't need hardware RAID? Want to access your drives as individual volumes without dealing with management interfaces? Or using a non-HD SAS device such as a tape drive? Then a host bus adapter is what you need. They are also great for DAS units with on-board RAID controllers, and provide better performance then port multiplier units if multiple drives are accessed at the same time. Many of them also support expanders. Couple these with our SAS or SATA enclosures for a complete JBOD system.
