Use up to 8 SAS or SATA drives in this cost-effective steel enclosure with built in power supply. Full-speed, terabytes of additional external storage attaches via two SFF-8644 connectors to your SAS controller card using two HD Mini-SAS cables. Drives are mounted using the included 5.25" to 3.5" brackets (no hotswap trays). Supports RAID or JBOD configuration depending on what controller is being used.

  • Two HD MiniSAS 4-channel SFF-8644 external female connectors.
  • Compatible with all 3.5" SAS and SATA hard drives, including 18TB and larger, that are compatible with the controller.
  • Can be upgraded to hotswap in the future by installing removable racks (must be 12G capable).
  • Can be used with optical drives, which must be supported by your controller
  • The SFF-8644 SAS ports can be swapped out for port multpliers or any other bridge board with a centronics bracket. Customize this enclosure the way you want.
  • 320W Power supply
  • 3 80 mm cooling fans
