Network Attached Storage systems are external enclosures utilizing SATA & SAS hard drives attached to a network rather than directly being connected to the computer. The distinction with SAN/iSCSI systems is the the ability for multiple computers to share the same storage volume simultaneously.
The units we offer below feature the high-end Open-E operating system and serve combined SAN and NAS duty: you can specify any volume to support file-level sharing or faster, non-shared block-level access.
